Gets a V groove prefinished 1x6 T&g from Woodtone. It's going to be a transparent white. Called 'Irish Cream'.

It's backordered can't get it until July 2nd. We're leaving July 3rd for son's wedding. Home owner was very cool about it.

As for the corner, We discussed the L shaped drop and yes that was our final decision to maintain the flow.

We installed 1x on both sides of the column drops so the stucco guys could have a place to bump their Milcor to. We screw it out far enough to remove easily and push our ceiling into the open space.

The show must go on! We can even get the painters in before the ceiling as well without worry of any over spray.

4 in 1

Yes I did

Its a little rough but I dug out some soft spots and didn’t worry about getting it bladed out perfect. I’ll do that with the rock. 👍
I thought it might be a 4-in-1 but I’ve never seen one on a small loader. Then I thought it was some specialized scraper.

The driveway looks good, put some rock on and I’d drive on it.

The sandstone house is on Lake Buchanan. Not my favorite design or prettiest house but it's going to be very nice for the price point. Masons are on outside and next week 3 coat 1 1/8 stucco with Sto product. Because of the climate we paint the stucco because of cracks. With the elastomeric paint and elastomeric Sto it's pretty legit 👌

The ass end of the Inks Lake custom is going to be lit when it's done, gets big limestone stairs. View from 3rd story is incredible, I'll snap a pic next time I'm there

Starting a smaller 3300 sq ft custom next week on a lot a stones throw from the other Lake Buchanan Custom Home. That house in the second pic is the other custom. Meeting with a lot directly next to this one next month to discuss building a custom there as well

Atleast tile is something we can confidently sub out still.

Lake Marble Falls Custom, carried same backsplash through kitchen, butlers pantry, utility and bar. Same floor through out house, including back porch all over ditra, including elevator floor. Front stoop is travertine. Same shower tile in all 5 showers

He takes pains to make sure to use Ditra Set etc... and has learned a lot about Schluter. Hes not quite at paul (austindb) level with Schluter but he's giving it a lot of effort. None of his other builders use it
