I saw one of those trucks recently hauling a trailer full of that drink. I use to always get one on the way up to my sons in NYs until they doubled the price of it in the vending machine. I like it, but not that much.

I woulda noped right out of that personally.

 

Naw, "high wind zone" wasn't active so easy peasy.

Just sharing high wind zone since that's what made us require the silly steel frame over the door. The same exact door beside it does not require one and roof loads are the same. Crazy.

 

You installed the beam upside down.

I knocked out a small job for one of Leo‘s clients, oh my God this woman is full of energy and she likes to bounce up and down like she’s on a pogo stick😂

Leo posted a picture about a soffit and then he had to cut a hole in a cabinet for the vent for the stove… then they changed microwave so I had to make the whole bigger👍

On the outside, I had to go up 35 feet and cut a hole in the siding to install a thermostat control fan….. fun is.

The caulk doesn’t match the paint but 35 feet away boy it looks gorgeous😂

That was done in a caulkmanshiplike manner.

 

Would have finished this up today until I installed the doors on the right cabinet. I put two on and shut them and there was an inch gap between them. Somehow I made those four doors a half inch to narrow.
So tomorrow I have to build 4 new doors and spray them on Friday and maybe get them installed at the end of the day.

 

Man, does that suck. That's the one good thing about inset. They need to be fitted so there is no way you can get that far and not notice.

Other wise it looks nice.

 

Thanks. There simple doors to make and I have the material but I used most of my left over finish to spray some cabinet doors for my son-in-law’s garage cabinets. Now I have to buy another 95 dollar gallon of Sherwin Williams Gallery. It only comes in gallons. Lesson learned…don’t use up your left over finish until you know your done and everything fits.

Thank you! I’m happy with it. I’m glad the TV covers 90%of the top part. I didn’t really have the right gun set up to spray that thick finish on that big of an area and there is some striping that you can see from certain angles.

 

My pigmented has been running over $105 these days.

 

Looks nice Nickko. Everyone here has cut something wrong more than once.

That crossed my mind but I used three gallons from two different Sherwin Williams’s stores bought at different times and they all matched.

 

I'm not a fan of television-over-the-fireplace. It's usually too high.

 

I’m not a big fan of it either. I’ve done a few over the years and I always think I can’t wait for this fad to go away. Some people I’ve done it for after awhile say they don’t really like it.

 

If they pay me enough to lay on the ground & roll in dog chit in this 100 degree heat, guess what. I don’t care how If the cake’s right

Well at least this one wasn't infested with roaches.

 

Small soffit job today. Would have it done exceptfasica and door trim will not have until Monday.

Right,, I have to cut down a 42" wall cab to go under that soffit is the far left. These cabs are stapled together.

 

A little pink on the inside is always nice! Day 2-3 both shorter on hours. Nothing like taking a long lunch to go jog some laps at school walk a thon with my kids. My Danner USA boots were made for walking, but not running. Another dad was there still wearing his San Francisco slippers so I wasn’t the only one.

 

 

Looks good, only thing I would have done differently is radius the counter top corners, 1.5 or 2” radius.
