RDI elevation pre strung cable rails. First time using and me and my carpenter did these 2 section in 2.5hrs. We did watch the install video before we starting which really helped. Pretty cool system but the top rail is a bit beefy for my taste.

So for 2 stair sections and 1 strait section it was just over 2k. That does include an extra stair post as I wasn't sure I could get the stairs in 1 shot. I have steps to do on the other side of the addition for the 3rd section.

Their avalon was $2,600 with the tools and I would have needed 2 posts at the stair transition. I like how you don't see the terminations of the cable and was surprising simple to tighten.

Pretty nifty with the pre strung sections. Finehomebuilding had a small article about them stating it is about $100/ft.

Clean look. I get "regular wrought iron" in solid aluminum stock, powder coated, installed for around $200/ft. That's a nice option I'll look into. Thanks

Finally done with the deck, clients get back this weekend then we will discuss the lattice under the deck and perhaps sheet rocking the basement. I probably won’t be done with the house until the end of August which is when I started last year with this monster.😂

I do have a few surface scratches that I’m not happy about, when I was using the track and the track saw. Apparently it left a few marks right at the top of the stairs.😡 not deep.

Running conduit under my sidewalk for a generator I’m putting in at my house. I used the power washer method. I had to go about 52” to get under my sidewalk at a 45* angle. Worked great but was messy

Gotta weird angle on a molding, 42-48 and it is a small crown. So I cut the 42º angle because it's simple, just tilt the saw. And then I took that 42º and cut it on a block and glued it to the table with 2P-10 (luv that stuff) and just pushed the molding through with the blade at a 90. I was a bit worried about stability and especially the last foot or so. But no real issues, nothing scary at all.

This was just a test, the real pcs were 16 footers.

Well, it was suppose to be kind of a throw away temp table. Pretty sure my brother is going to keep that for a while.

Starting to put those cabinets I've been griping about painting together. Got the 4 lowers put together. Probable going to need some help to put the backs on the two upper cabinets. Have to make sure everything stays lined up straight on the bottom so they'll lay flat on top of the other cabinet. Or maybe I'll make a small molding to make sure it looks clean.

I'm to lazy to go to HD when I have stacks of wood in my wood bank.

And it ain't furniture in my book if it's held together with pocket screws.
