Feeling better today and because our family picnic was cancelled because no one knew if all of use would feel good enough to come I decided to go into the shop and remake the box.
All mitered and taped. After the glue dried I cut the box in half.
Lots of testing for the sizing of the drill hole for the Kaizen foam. I ended up tracing it out and taking a picture of it then used my photo editor to make a silhouette and then used the trace function in Lightburn to get it into the laser.
Did some other resizing and testing to make sure it all fit and then burned it with the laser. The thicker stuff got burned clear through the foam while the thin stuff just traced the outline so I could use a knife to finish it off.
Then I filled it up with the tools.
That's where I stopped for the day. Still have to put the logo on the top of the box and put the hinges and latch on. Eventually it'll get a clear coat on it next time I'm running clear in the sprayroom.
