the milwaukee circ saw is a really good saw, mine lasted 10 years before it bit the bullet.. something tells me your just extremely hard on saws

The Tilt lock circ saws have been great for us. They need to scrap the whole tilt mechanism imo though. It only makes changing the trigger more difficult.

The sawzalls are durable, but there are better sawzalls out there. I have never owned any of their cordless, but I have seen/uaed many of them. The 12v line has a great selection of tools and a nice price.

My saw is 4 1/2 years old. I've cut tons of Hardibacker, studs, misc, and worked it pretty hard. Still going strong.

Ive had my eye on that tape every time I see it, looks pretty good, the only thing I might have issue with is the huge end on it. Might be an issue when measuring inside angles. :thumbsup:

Yeah. That thing is a monster. I thought about taking a grinder to it and getting it down to normal.

Face it buddy you're screwed! :)
The company had our weekly meeting to go over projects and safety. It came up that we were short a builder's level. I made a joke about a shopping trip and boss says "Why don't you go buy one?" One the other carpenters laughs and says "Tough luck, he ain't gonna buy it, Milwaukee doesn't make one!" It's gotten bad enough that everyone in the company knows I'm a junkie.

I'm a big Milwaukee fanboy! Have used only Milwaukee cordless tools since I started in the trades and they have always served me well. Now they are dominating the cordless market and their specialty tools are great. I work with a partner who has been a Dewalt guy his whole career, around 25 years, and after using my Milwaukee stuff and seeing that they're putting in the r&d, he has now changed to mostly Milwaukee! Great tools is all I can say.

I feel Milwaukee tools are worth the money you pay for them. Good warranty and great selection. Been using their 18v stuff for years but I had to pick up the Pex/uponor tool this year which got me into the m12 system. I fear I'm in a world of chit now.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I love my old American made Milwaukee tools. Have a Sawzall that's over 15 years old and another that is closer to 25, still going strong. I am not a fan of their newer stuff. Doesn't feel as solid. Got quite a few other older Milwaukee Tools as well, and I feel confident they will work everyday I need them.
