Not exactly what I wanted but it'll work. I wanted to put two 3/8x3" dowels in through the top but I just don't have enough space. Between what the plywood will cover and the taper on the legs I didn't want to chance something breaking because I'm pushing the limits on being near the edge of the miter joint and the legs. So 3" screws it is. One on either side of the miter. So between the leg being glued to the base, the screws on either side of the miter and the spline I'm pretty confident this joint will stay together for a while.

What other cabinet did I screw up?

It's gonna be beautiful 230 miles from my shop.

What happens if it fails the 7 day test? Concrete co pay for removal and new pour? Only head of testing in commercial around here.

It far exceeded minimums, we start framing Monday. Took delivery of package today, out of practice and like a rookie didn't get them to deliver poly to cover it. Super had to drive 25 mins to town to get some, it was drizzling on me when I counted it

this is the bottom. Put a piece of 6 quarter on the front. That’s all your going to see because it’s going wall to wall.

I don't even own a moisture meter.

I bought one a long time ago. I thought I might need one because I buy most of my wood in the rough. Turns out a rarely use it. I don’t even keep the battery in it. I bought this maple from someone I never bought from before so I thought I would check it.

Probably not a bad idea to check if you don't know they seller.

Pretty much done building pieces parts. Some minor assembly and paint is the major work now.

Then I made a jig for the planer to make the door stiles.

And this is what came out

I put a slot for the panel on the edge and cut the miters and a test fit

Put some biscuits in the miters and used a strap to clamp them up.

Hope they fit.
