Was sick on Sunday. Wanted to complete this over the weekend but had to settle for getting it done today. Short door, 70" tall. Going into a basement through a hatchway.

Needs to be fit because the opening isn't square, hinges mortised and knob installed. Then I'll prime it and others are taking care of the painting.

What's the wood? Neat grain.

Clear coat of conversion varnish on Walnut. I'm finding recently that the Walnut has much more pronounced grain, in both veneered panels and solid stock.

Screws screws and more screws

Clamps clamps and more clamps.

Should be the last laminated curve for this project. Next comes the curved trim. That's segmented.

My day got screwed up yesterday because a client was suppose to stop by the shop at 11. They got there for 1230 after telling me at 1050 they needed another 1/2 hour. So by the time I got the pattern about 1/2 way done the wife wanted me home for dinner. I went home and then came back at 800 to finish up because I wanted it to have a good long dry, overnight.

Hope it was worth it.
