Nothing huge right now. Had a former customer reach out about covering up an electrical panel in two rentals, and a basement laundry chute. I'm not really a cabinetmaker by trade (or by sales volume :whistling) but I can make up some above average raised panel doors when I have to.

Got around to making my molding embossing machine. It's hand cranked using a pair of vice grips. No need to make anything fancy since I'll only be running 20' of molding.

Here's the machine

And here's the original molding, my molding and the molding without the embossing

Thanks for helping me drill those three holes in the wood. :w00t:

And catching the wood out of the planer and molder.

Nice not to have to build boxes.

And I gotta say I've never built an embossing machine before.

This video is how I found out about heating up the embossing wheel.

CPL of pics. Take out stock boot. File down hole with Dremel or round hand file. Incert.
It's attached with 2/ gutter screws. One into plywood and other thru ply to metal. I used Sika flex stone adhesive ( that's all I had Handy) on back. Heavy beed.

Work station 3x6 paulk has been fitted out with 4/ hd caster's.
- power strip
- 4 chargers (2/dewalt . 2/ Hilti) all hspeed.
- cali quiet air inside with hose running to air keg.
2-3 everwin compact light framer's off keg.
- Lil fein vac runs off remote for flexvolt.
- Table Saw runs on dedicated 20amp plug so I never trip gfi or breaker when using vac or compressor kicks in.
- rest of tools on framing is
3/Hilti impacts.
1/ Hilti cordless worm drive
1/ dewalt cordless worm drive

When temps dip below freezing I take dewalt batteries home for the night.
Hilti's stay outside all yr around. There rated for -5 do I could care less.

Finally got the color chip from the client so I could get the finishing done on this floating drawer.

Built in handle for the drawer. Just enough space for some fingers. If you have fat fingers it might be a bit uncomfortable.

It's got Blumotion, yes.

It doesn't have Blumotion Movento Tipon which I offered and they declined.

I thought it would be the best option for this pc but they didn't want it. I set up the slides so the addition of Movento Tipon wouldn't require any adjustment, just a slide replacement.

No hardware. 3/4" back that is biscuited on all 4 edges into the sides, tops and bottoms. Biscuits are glued, plywood is glued and then pocket screws to help out. Four 3" long large headed screws will secure it ot the wall. It's not that big of a cabinet. I've used the same technique before with good success.

Making a bookcase for my DIL. It's going to end up being painted Forever Lilac, so ya... purple.

Here is the base frame just fitted together. Made it with tongue and groove jointery. Everything done on the tablesaw or router table. The legs that form the right and left sides had the slot done with my dado set. Towards the bottom of the leg the dado stopped and I had to carve it out with a 1/4" chisel.

On the front legs the top and bottom slots were made on the router table with a 1/4" bit.

I glued up the sides first. Made the panel out of 3/8" MDF and put the small bevel out as a decorative feature. After the sides were dried I used a hand held router with a rabbeting bit and put a stop rabbet on the rear two legs to accept the back. Had to carve the bottom square so it will accept the plywood back.

Glued up a simple top and used a 45Âş bevel on the edges and two front corners. Put some shelf pin holes in the legs. I screwed up because I wanted to put the front shelf pin holes in the back side of the front legs so you wouldn't see them. But I needed to do that before I assembled the side.... oops.
