Like this lol. Scribed a 4 1/4” hole saw and then jig sawed it. Stone fabricator already mitered the edges and wasn’t about to give a radius mitered edge…well not with the original quote in mind. But yes. I agree to all. But the whole reason for the banjo is so I could fit normal sized door trim. Door is already a 28” this is all a remodel with original plumbing layout. It would be hard to hip check yourself. But this is definitely an adult bathroom. The door originally swung the opposite way which is dumb for where the light switch was/is.

Cabinets that will be going under a set of stairs that will form a bar area and some storage. All of this is black stain. In person you can see the grain, in the pictures it might be noticeable, but barely. Hard to do black with the grain showing. It really needs to be a really dark gray to have a good amount of gray showing.

This is a gallon jug of glue in the drawer

Hall facing side of the cabinet. Left is a panel and right is a working door.

Bar side of the cabinet. Single working door. The unfinished area has a cabinet
form an "L" into it.

And the wall cabinet which forms the "L"

The cabinets will be getting a slab countertop and the bark needs to be removed. I used a draw knife to get the job done in a few minutes. And yes, that's what I play in the background when I'm working or sanding. Angry music.

I had two slabs. The rear one will be the main slab. And the front one is the one I took the bark off. I only used a 15" wide by 21" long part of that slab. It's got a big honk'n knot hole that's hidden by the draw knife unfortunately. That will be filled with epoxy with a black tint along with all the other checks and defects.

I made a haunch cope to join the two boards at a 90 to cover the cabinets.

Came out pretty good. Just used a straight chisel to remove the bulk and a curved chisel to finish it off.

Neither. The GC I'm doing the work showed up with them. They came this way but aren't very flat. I'm sure when they came off their flattening device they might have been. But one of them has a twist and the thickness varies from 1 3/4" to 1 1/2" which may prove to be an issue. The final size glued up is going to be less than 4x8 so my buddy with the CNC will get them flat for me. Hopefully I can get 1 1/4" out of them.
