Seemed to be the best container to use when I was cutting the bottom tenons. Why find a new area to park them after they were wrapped.
These knuckleheads stacked 3 different lengths of panels in one stack all aligned to one end creating an offset center of gravity.
The 76' long bundles had straps in 15' on both ends on the stack with1 size panels. However, the other bundle we needed to shift straps 2' towards the heavier side creating a 17' cantilever off the other strap. We did a slow lift to judge strength. Thankfully it was strong to manage its short trip to the roof.
38' spreader bar. Oddly crane dude didn't have a center strap for it back to hook up.
No mishaps.

I have seen many different weird situations I just can’t grasp why anyone would do this, the room has nasty carpet that’s going to be replaced tomorrow morning, on each side of the sliding glass door they had 30 x 48 framing that held white stone, I can only imagine it was for planters, I was working on the grout for the foyer when the real estate agent removed the stones and kept digging beyond the floor ???
apparently, this room must have had a failure, or it was because they didn’t want a step into the other part of the house so 2 concrete floors, so once I was done with the grout, I had to run to the store and get fast setting concrete so it would be ready for carpeting tomorrow not an ideal situation, but it is what it is

The tile maker used mappi grout color, so it was my first time using this product.

Setting trusses for the 3rd time on the same roof section. First time the truss manufacturer screwed up and wanted to do a full replacement, then they misinterpreted the poor plans and specced 8' walls instead of 9. Fun fun fun. My other foreman ran this project and I'm just there to help get us back on track.

Made a couple of old school drawer fronts for a guy in my neighborhood and now he wants me to go over to his place to see what else we can do to his cabinets.
And had a GC drop off an over the refer wine cabinet. New fridge is taller and now the wine cabinet is 2" shorter.

So you’re talking more if you were to trap moisture in it, like if you were to spray while it was still wet?
Blast the steel with a flame just prior to applying the foam insulation. That way the steel is dry as a bone.
Just turn the flame off between spraying.
How flammable is that foam.

Crammed about as much as I can in here. Space for 3 boxes of pins .75", 1", 1.25" and the 1.375" sit inside the handle where they nest nicely. Waiting on the hinges, latches and handles to complete the case before I need to find a home in the truck for it.

Installed these windows in today. Black Andersen 100's . Much better than the cheap Jeld Wens. Funny house, is a post and beam cedar, sheeting/ siding is 1 1/2 T&G. Leaked like a sieve before resided it a few years back.

Working on a modern take of a pergola (or is it pavilion? cabana?). Steel frame with a floating flat roof structure.
It's essentially and outdoor covered seating space and will have a motorized tv lift in the ceiling.
A fun little project with some interesting details.
While working on the roof this week we got to watch a pair of Red Shouldered Hawks banter back and forth while hunting.

Got the hinges and latch today. Spent 10 minutes putting them on. Neat hinges, constant torque they call them. They are just very tight, had a tough time moving them by hand.

But they make it so the hinge will let the lid stay in whatever position you leave it in.

And the latch is nice too. Seen them on briefcases. These have a snap ball to lock it shut which is nice.

Just waiting on the handle now. Looks like a briefcase handle, black plastic. I couldn't find what I wanted, something in metal that would be like a cabinet drop bail pull which surprisingly come in brass, bronze, oiled bronze and black but it's really tough to find them in a brushed nickel or silverish. They exist, but not what I wanted.
