I have a floor that is to receive vinyl planks, the floor is 1-1/2" out over a 12' span (drops). The room is about 24' x24', 12'x12' is pretty flat and starts slopping to about 1-1/2" in the lower corner. Was thinking about using tapered strips every 16" and overlay with flooring and taper down from 3/4" to 1/4" and then floor leveler at the edges. Floor leveler will be used to fill in where I step down from 3/4" to 5/8" to 1/2".... out to a feathered edge to where it starts to drop. Any recommendation would be appreciated.
