I've been eyeing the Bosch GLM 100 C for a while, but can't bring myself to pull the trigger. Anyone find using the a bluetooth laser meter useful?
Wow, haven't seen this one, I want it!

I have the $80ish Bosch laser tape and the thing is great. The Bluetooth feature on the GLM 100 C intrigues me though....

Here's how I see it happening... I get myself the GLM 100 C, and one of my guys gets my other Bosch. Win-win.

EDIT: Just played with the app that goes with it. Seems like it would be SUPER useful and productive for field measuring.

I have the Leica Disto D5, with a 4x viewfinder for outdoors. It's an awesome but spendy piece of equipment.

I have q Leica Disto D3 and a Bosch.

Both are great instruments and extremely accurate.

Accurate enough to do base & more.
I also have Bosch, very accurate, I dbl check the measurements from time to time and its always on the money.

Been looking at Leica now E7100i to go with Chief Architect, hear very good things about this name brand so will give it a shot.

I have one of the Bosch units. Don't remember which one. Always extremely accurate. Use it for Base, Crown, measuring interior jobs, always come up with things I can use it for.
I've even used it for getting measurements between things, ie: shelving. High end cabinets had to be cut. I was nervous but the laser was perfect.
You won't regret it, but you need to accept it. After years of doing one thing, sometimes it is tough to use new methods.
