I got a call today from Construction Journal.com. Anyone have any experience with them? I looked into them years ago but never followed through.
They offer a subscription to their online database of construction projects in your region/counties/state. Their database contains commercial and large residential (subdivisions not individual units) and seems to have a pretty good list of projects ( I was given a demo period online today). The database offers information on each project such as contact info for bidding, project scope, date of commencement etc. They are asking for $575.00 for 90 day usage or $1776/year.
I throw that kind of money towards ads that often produce nothing. At least this Construction Journal.com leaves it up to you for initiating the contact.
Thoughts?
