We do not delete accounts here, because that would wreak havoc with any threads the member has participated in. You can edit your profile if you wish, but it will remain as long as the site continues to exist.

FYI, that's SOP for just about any forum on the internet, not just this one.

To be quite honest...this is a jerk move.

You came in all full of yourself....were told you were wrong, by successful, seasoned guys that know what they are talking about, and you still stuck to your guns...that you weren't wrong.

A bigger guy would fess up...explain the confusion and move on.

Just don't post anymore if that's the way you feel. You will be forgotten....10 minutes ago.

The part of being a bit new isn't the problem. It's the disrespectful, non-stop, childish comments placed by members that are just unnecessary and I don't care for such negativity. I have patience but I don't have it for ignorance. I've been scrutinized and had members try to belittle on anything they can find to do it on. They sound like a bunch of frat boys hazing someone. Just not wanting anything to do with it anymore. Please help me to delete my profile and name from this. Thank you

I'm from Holmen, Wisconsin. A born and raised farmboy from a large dairy farm. I still have family that live in Germany. They are 3rd cousins though. What is it with people thinking or assuming I'm from a foreign country ? I'll stick to my guns when it comes to what I believe and have been taught by men that are probably a lot more seasoned then most. Just because terminology is different doesn't mean I'm wrong or they are wrong either. Same as they are right with the terminology the way they were taught. I don't believe I ever said they were wrong at all or was trying to belittle them. I stand tall proud and confident. Not perfect by any means. Difference between pride and arrogance. I have pride !!! Rein Stolz !!!

Please feel free to close all threads and ban me from further threads. I have think skin and I've made it in this business for along time. I also plan on staying in the trades and this business for along time to come.

Do you not have the ability to just log out & walk away from this site? I've created screen names on many sites over the years only to figure out that the site didn't hold my interest so I just logged out & never went back. I've never had anyone track me down & do bad things to me because the site owners didn't delete & scrub my account.:whistling

Good grief, are you the guy who wants to quit a job and then hang around and not leave to see if anyone gives a damn?

You are in the company of men who really don't give a damn...I can assure you. So log out, hit the road, and find a facebook group you can relate with. Maybe "Snowflake Contractors"?
