Are you asking whether you should radius the crown? Miter it. I think a curve would look odd.

It's so slight that I'm wondering if I should even bother "doing the do" or if I should just miter it and back cut it a bit to sit even on the wall.
Lousy picture, but you get the idea. What does the jury think?

Will the customer pay for that?Since you're painting- Can you take it a step further and float out one side of that so it meets in defined corner?
If they live on Central Park East, money isn't a concern. Will the customer pay for that?
Man, that's freaking AWESOME!It would be best to follow the curve in plaster. It only takes a few minutes to make a profile knife.
This is an outside corner, but it works the same.
That is what separates the men from the boys, and yes I'm still a boy :laughing:basswood said:It would be best to follow the curve in plaster. It only takes a few minutes to make a profile knife. This is an outside corner, but it works the same.

No doubt. It probably only takes a few minutes to tune a Stock Car as well, but I'm not gonna try it. :no:That is what separates the men from the boys, and yes I'm still a boy
