Where do you store that awkard thing?

Husky makes a nice looking floding light stand that I've been eye-balling.

Plus why is that darn light so expensive?

Never heard of husky?

I want area lighting. The problem with the setup I have now the light is like a flash light it shine in one direction. So I have to swivel the light around every 5 min. The wobble weams to take care of that.

100 bucks might sound like a lot, but you'll get what you pay for. A light you don't have to screw around with. Takes a beating. If you don't do something to break the light bulb which would take a lot, you'll probably get 2-3 years of service without a fuss. Try that with a 500 watt halogen, we're lucky to get a month out of one of them. Plus they have an outlet built into them so they end up being in very convienient spots to always plug a tool or something into. They work great, well worth the money to me.

We still keep a halogen around too. Wobble light will fill with non directional light, not good for drywalling, still need a directional halogen to check the progress of mud work.

Excellent points Mike, but for me space is critical, if it collapsed into a 8" cube or something it would be perfect. It just looks like such an awkard bugger to store.

Husky is available at the Depot.

I don't have one, but alot of guys do.

I have a dozen 500watt flood lights, and 250watt flood lights....and yes they suck a pile of power, get super hot and cost a fortune in bulbs....Still 100 bucks for a big awkard wobbeling light.:whistling
I've seen those popping up more and more. Everyone seems to like them. The Wobble Light.....could have picked a better name for it, sounds ghey. But I may just pick one up. I'm looking into one that can take serious abuse and wonder about the new LED lights. Cool to the touch, bright, tough, but expensive.

I have that light and I really like it. I also have a wobble light, I like it too. Best part about the wobble light is that I can kick it and beat it when I get pissed and it comes back for more, just like my old Mr. T punching bag!!!
