We have 2 windows in 2 blind dormers. I've heard of people putting black poly on the backside, but am leery of this. I think we will use plywood painted black. How do you normally deal with this? thanks

eventually ply will probably distort and splinter needing some type of maintenance
maybe better off using black roofing sheets in aluminum or steel
you can get them in 50'' by 10' jmo

or try painting the glass on the inside

Loneframer posted some pics on some awesome
faux windows i believe

I have used painted plywood and black laminate but it never looks great for long.
For a little extra money I now use spandril glass wich is solid black. I may have spelled that wrong but who ever your glass guy is will know what I am talking about.

Dave
scuff glass and paint black(on the inside of course)
