I clean the scale off pool tile with #10 glass bead. I want to change my system to walnut shell. Will this work?

Vanair 25 hp rotary screw 70 cfm at 1oo psi
150' 1/2" air line from compressor to pot.
Pot is a basic 100# pot with 1/2" plumbing in and 3/4" at the media valve.
25' of 1/2" blast hose
3/16" or 1/4" nozzle

Would a long venturi nozzle be better than a straight one?
What grit size would be best?
What psi works best without damaging the tile glaze?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm certain you couldn't hurt the tile it's self with walnut even if you wanted to and you can just get any tiles from the home store to test it for your self. I think you could take out some of the grout though it's much softer. I have no idea if it will clean the scale, I have never done that and I don't know what it's like. I suspect it's like hardened calcium in the kitchen sink, just a guess but I think walnut is going to be soft to do it. Can you take a bag with you on your next job to try a spot out?

Yes I can take a bag. I was more curious about the set up, if it looked like a workable one. I did try the fine walnut at 60 psi and it did nothing to remove the scale. I bought a bag of 20/40 to try but I am not sure if my setup will blast it.
