cool stuff very primitive looking. Where did you find it?
It is from a great little local millwork shop. A guy here invented a milling machine that makes these. They do mostly traditional millwork, but have added this carved stuff to their line-up. I bet they could ship it to other markets.

The business is called "Millwork Plus" and their millwork is really nice. I buy from them whenever I can. They do have a website but it is not very good.

I'm finishing a rustic studio apartment of mine (in my spare time). I'm going to use a funky rustic trim in there.

This stuff is too weird for most, but I want to try it out. Here are some samples:
I like the bottom, center, piece
very much.

That is cool lookin stuff.

It reminded me of these new carved panels that Enkeboll came out with recently.
I bet you could come up with something to do with them Bass.

I want to see you post a picture of a project with one of those panels in it Neo.
Get your smokey frame of mind behind that idea.
Come on, lets see the real master at work.
My next two jobs probably
wouldn't buy a piece of that stuff.

Neat stuff bass, but I have a question. Mitered or coped?:blink:
Glad you like it, you... you, wiseazz.

Me too. I'm picking up a crown order today at Millwork Plus and will grab a few more samples of the carved stuff.

The two bottom-right and two middle-right are very nice.
The other ones could have their places somewhere, too I'm sure.
Your favorites are the hybrid stuff--traditional millwork with carved elements added on a second pass.

Cool looking stuff Bass. Some of that would work for beamed ceiling
Good idea on the beamed ceiling application. They have carved 2x2' panels for ceilings I know.

Cool stuff !
It is interesting that it is a new innovation used to make primitive woodwork.

Wow Gus,

Those are some killer panels!

Have a great day,

Lovin' the lighter lookin' trimboards. Where'd you get those?:shifty:
Here is a link to the website, but... I have seen the millwork and it is far better looking in real life than it looks on the website. They need a cyber upgrade. Much of their online presentation is cheesy, but the product is great IMO:
