Came across this site a few days ago, registered, and starting posting like a mad man. Now I finally scroll down and see the intro thread.

My name is Joshua, I have my own painting business in Saginaw, Michigan. I started painting 8 years ago when I was in the good ole US Navy. (Everytime a customer asks for gray, I talk them out of it, too many bad gray memories)
But I've been on my own for 2 years now, and learning new stuff everyday. This forum is great, espc. with you veterans giving us rookies good advice.. S

So ty for having me

Welcome aboard Josh. Just what's so wrong with battleship grey. Being the son of a C.B. I grew up loving the color, and yes that was an order. LOL.

Hi Josh, I'm 3rd generation Navy. Grandfather in WW I, Father in WW II, Me in Vietnam. I grew up with battleship grey, my race boats were always painted that with mil-spec numbers.
One of the family jokes comes from the Navy, 'Pound to fit, paint to match.'. The joke is that everyone in the family does superior work, Swiss ancestry.
