I was asked to refinish a white globe with black markings lit at our church. It is lit from the inside. So, I need to find a translucent paint or a method that will still allow the sign to glow at night.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Oh, it seems to be made of a kind of fiberglass resin...

why not polish it ? similar to today's headlamps on a car...

Without seeing it you could use those specialty rattle can paints like frosted glass or stained glass paint. Just do it right so you don't get excommunicated
