I'm wondering if there is a good layoff for putting in all thread rods in the cement right after pouring so when I lay my stem block wall and bolt down my sill plate I wont run into trouble by the rods hitting on layoff of studs? Also so they hit in my block holes well. I know they need to be 12" from corners and 6' on center and 12" from end when butting boards together. Im building a 24" x 24" 2 car garage which will attach to gable end of house. Also any advise on getting the site ready to dig as far as the the width of my trench. Inspector wants me to pour 18" deep and 16" wide. I will be installing 3 rows of 8" x 16" block for stem wall.

Rife, do yourself a favor and call a mason, because you have no clue what you doing!
