What tile project are you working on?

It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

This was my first one done like this.
And I just didn't think 2" was a huge deal
You look at some of the homes done in the 1950's with all the joists notched to lay a mortar bed. Not saying that is correct either. Just that they would put 2 ton of weight on those joists too

Do you think I'm loosing that much strength doing this?

I have a feeling I know where these posts will be headed, but would like to understand the technical wrongs in this

For barrier free I use the Tuff Form by ARC. I've used them three times now. A great product with no guess work. You simply remove the 3/4" subfloor, bridge between the joists on the edges of the pan and around the drain.

No worry about structure.

I just met with the guys from ARC. They have a ton of new literature and a few new products to check out.
