The shower's niche is coming along.

Back cutting the tile so you can install with a mitered edge is worth the effort.

David is loving the fresh stock of polish pads. Yesterday he said

"This 50 Grit is just melting the tile"

I set the framing a little high for the tile layout so we had to go savage on the tile's back side to make it fit.
That tile is absolutely beautiful JW. I love that high gloss white. How nice would some blue led look with that.

I pitched the Glowing LED niche shelf... Nope.

The steamer up sell. Nope

I did get my way building out the wall so we could so a recessed niche for the tub filler. Now to figure out how to build it.

Oh well, looks great! There is always the next shower..

We finally have a tile selection out in West Van and that shower will have the LED shelf!

This project is a great one. Barrier free - another tile top drain going in. This one might just get the old "Anti Air Lock I" from the get go or I'll try out the newly designed one.

You guys ever see this warning label on a Schluter Profile?

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, it's on every one.
Angus it could be that it falls under the "Reading Instructions" part of the the male code and my brain just blocked it out but I don't think I have ever seen this label in BC.

I can see why every single transition needs to be labelled and will hit my suppliers this week and take a closer look at the stock I've been buying.

Bob Weins send me some info from the website and here is a link http://www.schluter.com/2171_material.aspx I'm thinking the 316L Stainless transition is the safest bet. Or the Butech.

Finished up this one today!
Shooting a commercial Friday.......Hoping to stay in these kinds of jobs. Remember coming on this site a few years ago and being so envious of a lot of you doing awesome jobs like this. I kept asking how to get these types of jobs (showrooms, Homeshows, what kind of advertising) think it was Angus who told me the best advertisement is in your work, take the extra time and effort to make things right. It paid off! Thanks to everyone on this site!

That looks very very nice. Good luck with the commercial and landing the jobs you want to do.

What an outstanding shower! Nice work. I bet Nelson and Eric will be asking you for permission to share the pictures. Have you posted these on the Noble Facebook page? You should.

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, it's on every one.

I looked today and it appears to be only on the Aluminium stock. The stock I had problems with was clearly labeled and I missed it.

The stainless and brass profiles where not labeled.

The expansion strips where not labeled.

Some of the brushed nickel stock as well was not labeled.

I bought a few profiles and want to see how long thin-set can stay on before it causes a failure in the finish.

Wow, Steve that shower rocks!! I like the single vertical band passing through the niches, the mosaic work on the floor.
I love wall mounted faucets, not easy to pinpoint the pipes though.
The granite bench is unusual, kind of away from shower "changing bench", but hey the client is happy, that counts the most!
AAAA++++:thumbsup:

Thanks...And ya I had to move those faucets after I got the cabinets in... PITA was 2" too low (thank god for Pex). I also can't believe how much more those things cost! Think they were $600 each.

SRW,

Great looking work! I have a question though,... What's up with the "bowl" on the floor? Bidet?
Customer was driving me a little nuts with that......She ordered the vessel sinks on Overstock And the ones I installed are the 3rd set. (2 didn't match very well and 1 set was broken on delivery) Still not done with that though......She doesn't like those ones either (too yellow):censored:
