It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Craig and I set and grouted a good 2000 sf of 24x24's in 3 days. I couldn't get any good shots yet because stuff got stacked on the tile today...
This is a shot of carpet squares... We clocked in at 400 sf in 25 minutes  now we're both trying to figure out why the heck we do ceramics :wallbash:

Walk-in shower. One of two in the house we're building. First Kerdi shower. By the second one i was starting to really like that weird fleece-y shtuff. On this shower I layed the Kerdi horizontal in continuous sheet around entire shower and bedded the horizontal seam with Kerdi band into the Durock joint to avoid any corner seams and completely minimize overlap and resulting bulge..............if I stop typing, I can almost hear the laughter. It worked...... and will never happen again.

I have used those matted 1"s and I know how imperfect they come out of the wrapper so I can appreciate how nice your shower looks. Nice work, thanks for sharing!

@ Ohio .......... Marazzi porcelain 2x2's ........It took me a little bit to figure out how to cut out the offending tiles that were set askew on the mats after I hung them on the Kerdi, without violating the Kerdi. Hooked carpet blade. Stopped counting how many I had to cut out cause of 1/4" epoxy blobs behind tiles. I should have gotten involved in the design of these two showers, could have been a little more interesting. As it was I added the travertine niche as a gift cause I just couldn't live with myself. That shower you posted is more my style. Tile as fine art. Nice work. Cheers!

This is the project we completed yesterday.....Gypsy Hill Park - Staunton, Va. It was a tough one, mostly cause of the six year-old chief architect and his crazy notions on how to defy gravity. Just another primadonna. ....This is a tile and "stone" forum...right?

If you want a Mapei experience, start with Ultraflex 2.

To bump it up a notch, Try LFT.

When you're feeling feisty, drop some Adesilex P10.

If you want to drop coin for no reason, throw some Ultraflex 3 in a bucket.

When you want to play in the mud, use Mapecem Premix. Careful though. no being pokey. Stuff starts setting up in about 15 minutes. Can tile over in 4 hours or liquid waterproof in 16 hours.
