It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

With Noble its 2 1/2 the size of the tile.

Dan you look like you are at just 1 tile diagonal, you needed to be 2 1/2 (diagonal) tile width.

but it's not my floor, just trying to help you out since you never seen a cut joint in a lanai slab :eek:nline2long:

seeing how the homeowner is a engineer and that is what he wanted and he is writing the check for. I do belive I will do what the engineer wants. The house is 9 years old i am pretty sure its done moving by now. But if I get some hair gel and a white truck I can be the tile police. Now I dont go posting snotty remarks on your pictures I expect the same:whistling. Thats right you blocked me on facebook because I had to correct you so much:eek::thumbsup:

I thought you said this place is for tile hacks??? and now ya come over here alot. WOW FAN CLUB FAN CLUB............autographs at 9 pm with beer.............

Don't cry when someone points out how your doing something wrong.
It's fine when you yap and make outrageous stories and we all need to listen, but the other way around doesn't work for you I guess. :jester:

Learn to take criticism the right way.
Your membrane across that joint is still wrong no matter if the guy is a teacher, plumber, architect or astronaut.

You told me how to cut my plank tile rows and use tue waste and proper spaces with no H's. I listened, learned and do them all that way now.

Brian is hard to debate with - trust me I know.

He is really good at spelling to. Has a nicer truck than me and a better tan.

I hope he hangs around more and show cases his work. Brian and a handful of other posters on John's forum are the only reason to visit that site and read through the remaining 80% of crap - eh? - No? Pooky?

As a side note Brian is the only other online tile guy I've seen post multiple flood testing pictures.... FYI

Here is a look at the current state of my last NuHeat Pad installation. I double checked that last sentence at it is spelled right. I said Pad. Not Wire. Whoops - someone screwed up. Long story but yet another reason I'm not installing any heating pad again. I broke my rule and let the client talk me in to setting his custom heating pads. My work needed to be removed with a 7" grinder. The original concrete pour looked like crap and needed to be ripped out.

This is a new crew with a new product. I like how they prepped the floor for the first pour. They primed it and then added on top the sandy mixture.
