Only thing is that they didn't want something that needed to be sealed.... they picked the corian, and I like corian especially cuz I used to be a corian fab/installer... at the beginning of the job, it was about the $ so they declined Cambria.... now they are saying, its not about the money... not my fault, I can only do so much...my name is not SuperOpie, lol

1400ssqft 16th floor apartment I have been working for some time cause we had to tear out tile and whisper sound barrier,WSB was pain in the ... to take out,but I dealt with it and installed new one trough out.

It was angle 45 layout,18x18 rectefying iitalian porcelain installed on thinset with 1/16 inch joint, wish it was mudset with this joint, but customer strictly wanted 1/16 and not an 1/8....

Any ways here are some pics from it,finally.
Damn, and I was all proud of the fireplace I did the other day.

Just finished up this deal today, the customers are painting and having heavy glass installed. They wanted a mirror on the back wall but they may want me to come back and tile it before a mirror goes in... and this was a case of them not liking the countertop color that they picked. It probably doesn't do much justice in the photo but in the room, it blends pretty good and only a matter of paint. New policy: when the sheet comes in, you will have to go to the fabricator and approve of the material, if you disapprove, pick another color and you MAY have to pay a restocking fee...........
Sweet shower Dawg

Hey dude cmon, that fireplace is sweet!!!

Currently working by starting today and helping a friend with 900sqft floor travertine with black marble diamond insert, thin set and 1/16 inch joint(some customers dont get it that 1/16 inch joint is for mudset!!!)

Surprise dont ends there, they told me that the travertine is 3rd grade...I never heard of 3rd grade travertine, well I finally find out what 3rd grade means....I had to set and emmediatelly remove at least 15 pieces due to being cut off wack a whole 1/8 from one side to the other. I THOUGH STONE SHOULD BE RECTEFIED CUT!!!! 3rd grade travertine OMG now I know what it is.....still coming out nice iven with 1/16 inch joint.

BTW they paid $1.75 per sqft its 18x18....:furious:

Here is the weekend warrior job I helped a buddy of mein.I laid all the full travertine trough out the whole house and finished the laundry room almost 100% so that monday my buddy can grout and put back the washer and dryer.Anyhow it was friday 12hrs,saturday 12hrs and today sunday 5hrs... 18x18 1/16 inch joint with black marble inserts,3rd grade travertine what a nightmare...700sqft,he has 200sqft more, but all cuts LOL,anyhow he couldn't do it if I haven't done it for him in first place.

Nope buddy, the stone is most of it like that, some sort 3rd grade travertine,I personally never worked with it and to tell you the truth almost every 2nd piece was out of wack cut out,so I had to work my way out trough the whole floor.

Owners choose some glossy sealer,I told them in this case best would be enhancer, but hey its their choice after all and their choice to buy this travertine for $1.75 sqft.

Got new mud set job starting tomorrow,I laid all the stone for my buddy,if he wants he can seal it before he starts with making cuts, its his puppy he can do as he pleases.
