Working in a stone and stucco project one of my most complex one :) here some pictures.

Separated every 2 foot by "V" Grooves verticals and Horizontal making the look like stones or tyles quite nice by the way.
That's EFFIS made to look like stone?

The craftsmanship looks great but I can't get behind that design.

I still have to install the mantel. I kind of like it. Goes real nice with the rest of the room. Also, their check cleared so....

Looks good.

Why the spacing off the wall?

Tom
I have a feeling it was done on the right to not block the window, then the same on the right to make it symmetrical.

So what's left is two skinny useless alleys and a big awkward built in that looks like someone took it out of another house and dropped it there. Then you have a janky electric fireplace a mile above the ground and a TV the size of a postage stamp mounted in the stratosphere.

But it's well made.

Why don't you tell us what you really think about it?

They had a concept picture from a magazine. They wanted a space and big enough one to fit a vacuum.

thats my oppinion as well! also there is some Interior design misconception, some how the room now is transmitting something like over loaded? windows look like hidding ... the design is nice but? maybe on the left?
That is a sitting area in their master bedroom. The room is 3 times that size.

The window is four double hung windows.

It's hardly overloaded.

I had to drill a hole centered on this pipe nipple for a steam head. I didn't drill it when I set the tile because I didn't have the size bit needed and I had ordered it but it was not in yet. I didn't want to hold up the job.

Here was my solution...and it worked very well. I drilled a 7/8" hole in some scrap GoBoard that just fit around the pipe. Then I drilled that out with the diamond hole saw centered on that 7/8" hole. That let me use the pipe as my guide to start the hole. Ended up with a perfectly centered larger hole.
