It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Looks good buddy! Was the Cigar trim supposed to be different colors?

haha do they call it cigar trim in your neck of the woods? they call it pencil trim here. The homeowner bought those. I guess she couldn't get all the same color. The flask on my camera kinda brightened the one on the corner up, I kinda liked th different shades myself.

Opie you lost me man. Were you refering to my pm's?

This is a kitchen and foyer floor we ripped out a few weeks ago. 16's in the kitchen and 12's in the foyer. The kitchen was set right on the cushion backed lino.(set in 2003) Tons of cracking grout. The foyer was set right on luan stapled to the plywood.(builder did it in 1990)Unbelievably,no cracking grout whatsoever in the foyer.

Tile in kitchen came up clean off the lino. I swear if i shined up the lino real good it would be useable!

Now heres the kicker...ITS MY HOUSE!!!!
We bought the house in 2004 and i knew what had been done on the floor. I figured "I can fix that!" (actually used it as a bargaining tool for a better price on the house).
Wife has been breaking my stones to get it fixed. Just like a mechanic with a broken car, it sat that way till a few weeks ago when we decided to put the house up for sale. Wife is ticked that someone else will enjoy the floor now!
