here is where i'm at, i put the LatiSil in all the corners today and tomorrow the SpectraLock.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
so what is the latasil a caulking that goes in corners and then gets grout over ? or is it just a more flexible grout specifically for grouting corners ?
edit : never mind i googled it thanks :)
so do you use latasil in the nich as well or is grout ok in a nich

6x24 porcelain tiles on the walls with a glass insert over doo-rock with Hydroban. Floor is 12x24 over doo-rock. Spectralock grout all around.
So on this one you said you used spectralock all around , did use caulking in the nich and corners or spectra lock ? when is it ok to use all grout? like would tile joint spacing be a factor or is it always best to use latisil(or equivilant) in all corners in wet locations

Caulk is typically used on any change of plane to prevent cracking from movement...from what I understand.

Latiseal only. I'll **** I'll admit that unless in doing a Hardwood to Tile transition or a backsplash , Tile baseboard where top meets bottom, I don't use it .. If I'm using epoxy. If I use Permacolor I'll use Latiseal .

My local supplier stopped selling QL2, so I'll have to shop around.
That's actually my next problem that I have to look into.. Dal is moving out Laticrete and I had a problem with them ordering some ql2 because they're trying to push Fusion.
I asked them if they will have access to Tru Color when QL2 officially passes the torch... I couldn't get an answer on that
