It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Opie gave my address to somebody...:whistling And I'm getting 2 buckets of waterproofer at N/c. I'm doing a full Laticrete test run on my own shower with Permacolor, Hydroban etc...
I just need him to give out my address to more people:shifty:
By the way, my Laticrete Rep dropped everything to come to my house to meet with me on a short notice(since I had an early day, and won't have another open day for weeks) He brought me a ton of info and answered alot of questions and concerns and took me through the full product line. I honestly could not be more impressed with the service that they provide for the "small guy". It's a Top Knotch operation. Gary, my rep is going to map out my next few shower orders for me and also come to my jobs to lend a hand!!!:clap:Totally awesome!!!

Thanks - The Gray is a Marble with Mitered Edges and the Black is an Onyx. The Customer was adamant about having "rounded" grout joints because they liked it better. I tried to have my say but when it came down to it thats what they signed off on so their choice. They wanted the grout to meet with the edge of the inside 45 of the mitered edge. I did sample boards to show them and I was out voted.

Yes the Glass block was replaced, I use a local supplier that makes one of those silicone boned Glass block windows and I have used him hundreds of times and love the product and not a single call back.

Finished the fireplace.... Decided not to grout in between stone.
Installed 5" hickory throughout entire first floor....love it! really durable wood

Put an Ikea kitchen....which I am actually pretty happy about.....they do have some affordable storage ideas...and all and all think it might last awhile

Put a coffered ceiling in, but blew out the rest of my LED lighting by accidentally hooking up line to 120v instead if 12v......stupid,stupid,stupid.....ruined $800 worth of lighting

Still have a lot of details to finish!! Motivation really slows down once you move in!( just moved in last week)

They were gonna use Jollies but they really didn't care for either... they are more concerned with the look of the banner, niche and the contrasting floor....
Maybe I shoulda used WEDI Board instead of tile for the walls! LOL
You mean like this?

Just put this together yesterday....I love the stuff took a total of about 6 hours with the framing.
The WEDI prints are a little much

Like your shower though.....nice work!

This was kinda fun. Sort of a pain in the ass too w/ all the angle cuts coming around the 22 1/2 corners. Worked out well though. Three piece crown around the whole room worked out well too I thought. Oh yeah almost forgot..... 1st time using QL2. I LOVE this stuff. Way easier to work w/ than any portland grout I've used. 10 times easier than epoxy too. Just make sure to wet the tile before you apply grout for easier clean up.

A few more shots. Granite tops and full granite splash. Had to do some real mods to the cabinetry to squeeze in new oven microwave combo including new 50 amp circuit. New cook-top in place of the oven. All WAC under cabinet lighting. If you haven't used them, try them out they are AMAZING and easy to install. Really just stickers w/ LED incorporated.

Finished this one last month. Koler taps, etc. schluter of course, custom vanity and quartz top. Quartz curb and top of glass. This was a gut to the studs job. Strapped ceiling to get straight and level. Medicine cabinet is mirrored both sides. Toilet has bidet in it. Heated floor. Solid wood crown and trim.

All tiles are porcelin, epoxy grout.
