It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

The client purchased their products at Pirch. That's what they sold them. I was kinda surprised myself when I saw them on the pallet. My plumber said that it wasn't uncommon. It was the first time I had seen it. It required 3/4" supplies all the way to the valves. It also had a balanced loop in it. It looked like a work of art when my plumber was done. Wish I had snapped a pic of the final product.

Well I'm not surprised it looks good from where you are. Your not in his state lol. Them pictures don't lie. That's nothing to be proud of. It's not something you can blame the tile on at all. That's the problem when critiquing others work. You best be prepared for the same when you post pictures. Sure makes me feel good about my quality of work though lol

Is that what commercial work has gotten you? :whistling

What I do know is you won't let the tile work in the gas stations you have been working on look like typical gas station tile work. At least I hope.

Good to hear from ya Matt!

Well Rob pics look great. Takes a lot to get it to that level.

Really expected to see near perfection.

After BCC zoomed in- Zoom'd in Photoshop decent workmanship. A few of little details 'could be addressed'. MY work, I worry to much about the little things. But you're not posting here for feedback.

Full pop was around $700.00 CAN my cost, or around $50.00 USD with the exchange these days.

It's a neat little rig. I got the offset drain to accommodate floor joists and maintain visual center. Goes in with ABS glue and unmodified like regular schluter drains and comes with a prebonded kerdi flange. The outer trim ring is mortared in place inside the lower trough and has flanges bent to support the inner trim.

For this application we used a mortar bed (dry-pack, sand-mix, insert familiar jargon here). Floor joists were 2"x10", 16" o.c. over a 9'8" span. Notched the floor joists to 7 1/4" in the shower area, sistered with 2"x8" bearing to bearing and resheathed. Let us get the curbless with a nice 1/4" in 1.

Under the main floor is Ditra heat
