It's been a little dead hereabouts lately, so I thought I would try and liven things up a little.

Post some pics of your current tile projects in progress. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

I second that Mike. Pretty nice stuff in this thread.

Here was our last 2 weeks...
12x24' marble in a Jacuzzi surround. Floor, walls and ceiling. Walls and ceiling all lined up. The full length niche was my idea. Im keeping my mouth shut next time.

Plank 6x36 on a bathroom floor and on back wall and ceiling. Sides are 12x24's. Oh, you want a niche? We can do that. A second niche? Ok, that would look kinda cool. What? A third niche....kill me.

Damn! Why always sideways on me?!

fun little project last week. full length wall inset shelf. The set is clean and crisp. The most challenging part was making the layout right from the framing. Traditional mortar bed floor. Durock and Tec Hydro Flex walls, hybrid Schluter/ HydroFlex niche.

here is the layout for may backlit panel in my own house, framed it last night. When laying out nitches and such I layout the wall based on the actual tile size and planned layout, them map it on the wall with lasers and frame to fit. because most of what i do is retrofitting existing walls it works pretty well.
I use tec hydroflex
