I created like a work order template on Microsoft Publisher that has fields like:

client address
price we're charging
date sold
details of the job.
date work was completed
etc.
Also use this for reference when invoicing.

I sometimes do as many as fifteen jobs a day so I use these tickets (they're a third of a page) to keep track of everything.

It works OK but it's a little time consuming to fill out all the fields or copy/ paste a bunch of times especially when entering a new customer into the system.

I've looked into CRM software but they look more complicated and labor intensive than what I'm doing, and I can't find any that can really make a work order template.

Anyway, do any of you guys have a system for producing work tickets and also managing your customer info?

Thanks!

ELMS looks pretty good actually. I think I'll try the demo. Thanks!

I am demo-ing a product that may fit your need. it is currently being customized to my needs to streamline dispatch, work orders, mobile field responses, project tracking, next action planning, and CRM.

If you are interested in looking at it, let me know.

Pricing is $30/month for system and 1G storage (5G available at $50/month), plus 10/month per user.
