You could fill it with dayton superior HS grout and it will probably break, its hard saying, that gaps almost big enough to put something solid in it like cedar or something. If I was to lazy to take them up I would probably put wood there because Im a carpenter.

Either way I would do neither on my job, just throwing ideas out there.
