The slightest pebble will stop 1" dowels or pipe
the shed I moved was 1200 lbs I believe

Our crane salesman sold us short on a job once. We were setting a 12' x 30' x 10' tall prefab concrete shelter that weighed 64,000 LBS. The crane got it close but, not quite there.

We stuck some 14' long, 3" SCH40, steel pipes undernwath and pulled it into position with a pickup truck.

Getting this pipes out required calling a local rigging firm that had high capacity, low profile jacks that we could fit under the lifting lugs

He knew what I was talking about, which was all that was needed for a non-electrical thread.

I buy the stuff for non-electrical uses - mostly lightweight structures. I'm pretty authoritative on that.

I let electricians buy conduit for electrical uses, not my area.

I've moved a gun safe with 1" pvc.
Also done it with golf balls.

I had a safe company install a very heavy 4' wide fire safe between two cabinets. They jacked the thing up, put a couple bags of ice under it, lowered the safe and slid the thing into place. Ice melts and safe install done. They asked me if I would pick up their absorbent clothes the next day. Sometimes the simplest things.....
