Hey guys, so I'm a project engineer for a highway my company is building in the coming months. My boss sat me down and told me he wants me to research all the training I want to have. I have been looking and looking and it all seems very vague.

If you all could throw in some certifications and what not that I could look into and if they're helpful, that'd be great!

It doesn't have to apply solely to an engineer. Thank you!

Training to do what? The list could be miles long.

That sounds like the company plans for you to advance, and you should take advantage of it. In addition to any continuing technical education, find some management classes - maybe extension courses at your local university.

1. Graduate degree

2. Management classes

3. Anything and everything they'll pay for

Probably in that order of preference
