RBS got it right. It's a sander/buffer handheld model. NSS makes commercial buffers and floor polishers. I use to repair them as a teenager for a janitorial supply company. It uses a twist lock disc that fits the hub and takes scotch brite pads or sanding discs. Would work great to buff out your car:whistling If it works it worth a couple of bucks. Have you plugged it in yet? Bet it's got some torque to it.

It works, when you flip the switch you better hang on because it will jump.

Some lower end insulation machines use a blower just like the one pictured. If you want to send it to me, I will see if it works.....you could build a machine like a Force 1 if you wanted to, since you now have the high dollar part in your possession.
Here is what it looks like in the suction end. It would make one heck of a super charger. :laughing:
