The top came from a local bar that closed. It was longer then the piece I used. You can see the piece I cut off sitting on top of the bar. I only built the bottom part. The foot rest I made out of red oak. arty:

It only looks big and bulky...it's really not that heavy. The top easly comes off, two men can handle it.

Barter my azz...I charge more then he does....:clap:and his wife (who is gorgeous) while I was remodeling her bathroom kept giggling every time she would walk by and look in she would say "you're making me excited Jon"...when he got home I told him he had his work cut out for him tonight...:clap:all the prep work was done....:whistling...He said he would take it from here and handle the details....:w00t:

Well done - we had a similar project about 2 years ago. We had to pay for a new upholstered top though. Great find on yours!
