L the weight of stone varies greatly depending on the "make up" of the actual product you have locally.
Here I estimate around 3,000 lbs per cubic yard, and that usually gets my jobs done with a little extra.
The most accurate way to figure this is to contact the quarry where you will be getting your product. They will know what the weight to volume ratio is.
You will buy Item 4 by the TON. It should weigh 2,000.00 pounds!
Crushed stone 2,400 to 2,600 a yard. Item 4 3,000 plus if wet.
