My web traffic has decreased over fall and winter. My seo company said google links coming into website has decreased dramatically. I did change my Website during this time. The other search engines such as Yahoo and Msn are ok.Has anyone experiences simmilar concerns? How is everyone's web traffic during fall and winter, mainly unique visitors?

There are many different things that could be happening. When you changed your site was it a complete overhaul or did you just add more content?
You can try and check the "Google Keyword Tool" just to get an idea if the number of overall searches is off for the month..or the past few months.
It's not a real accurate method but will give you an idea

As I mentioned in another post things are changing with how google's seo metrics are calculated...we are putting allot of time into social media outlets today and have only seen our stats rising.

It could be because it is a seasonal business and people tend to "chill out" (excuse the pun!) in the colder months.

Since our company deals with social media marketing for contractors, we have found that our website traffic has increased due to the fact that while they have down time, many contractors are learning to market their business effectively for the coming spring months.

Thanks, but I have a new design for my website just about time ranikngs dropped like 30%. This was in fall! But you are right Social networking is becoming huge

Yay, true that, but mine dropped in fall from last year a lot, due to transformation. I know I have to build a ton of new links. Aaargh!!
