What is some of your thoughts on trickle down wealth? Mine is the wealthy spend a lot of money on fancy homes or remodeling. Which in turn provides a lot of good work and money for the trades. Am I wrong thinking this way? Has been a topic on another group I am on.

There's a huge misconception about poor people and rich people.

People are not poor because others are rich. And people are not rich because others are poor.

It's basically resentment, jealousy and wanting someone to blame for your own decisions that got you where you are.

Most people don't have the cajones to start their own business.

That's not the caused by those who do.

The reason it takes a huge sack to start and run a business is due to the enormous amount of sacrifice and risk involved.

Liberation day will bring nation debt down which has robbed the average consumer purchasing power. Which is why the wealthy stayed wealthier and average people spin their wheels.
Less infiltrated paid migrants and American made jobs allow opportunities for those that save and budget verses those pounded by inflation to feed a redistribution plan.

A good active economy of local commerce generates more taxes from the bottom. The choice of consumption is where frugal lifestyles save. Right now and for years the plan was to have companies paying the freight of the masses.

In my world repairs are delayed and renovations are a luxury.
What I've noticed is the GDP needs to be 3 or more for regular work.

I recall Obama saying a thriving American economy was an unfair global economy which led to bubbles and crashes so his economy sucked balls at 1.5-2% making work random and spotty. Biden immediately slowed down the economy from Trump's to a government controlled economy.

What Trump's doing will reap rewards in a longer term. No other politician "that wanted" a stronger nation had the balls to make these painful transitions.

We talk about the wealthy paying the lions share of taxes but ignore the right offs and loops holes that negates them.
You don't take advantage of every single write-off you are entitled to and take advantage of every single loop-hole?
If you don't, you've got the wrong person advising you and preparing your taxes.

I think that where it really use to be effective is when the government gave businesses incentives to do things instead of punishing them for not doing things. Let's face it our government sucks at most things. They are ridiculously wasteful and just like throwing money at problems through their friends. After WWII there was a big push to change health care, you can google it, one of the things they did gave big incentives to give employees health care. I believe that back then it was 100% paid. All we need to do is look at the VA to see how well the government can manage it. Businesses are very good at doing things efficiently and cheaply. Way too much corruption in government. All these politicians making barely 6 figures coming out with 7 and 8 figure increases in wealth.

Mr. Randy,

Having money for the most part is struggling knowing everyone wants their hands in your pockets.

The only enjoyable aspect (for me) is helping others. The fancy homes, planes, yachts.....frankly after the first 20 minutes.....boring.

My advice (for what it's worth) treat everyone with respect and enjoy each day like it's your last.

As always, I remain

I think the economic value to the tax payers is outdated in most deep corporate tax cuts, just like I think its ridiculous to think 70% tax rate is ok beyond a threshold

Mostly I become more and more dissolutioned and disgusted with the level of greed that is everywhere all the time. I dont think it should be mandated that if people are working their tales off for you you should probably consider they are being compensated well enough to live what you'd consider a decent life, but I think its deeply disturbing how many people are OK with living in excess while their people are struggling or even barely able to survive even with government support.

It's very visible at the CEO level, but its also visible if less so at the small business level. The subs I work with have loyal crews and that speaks well to their being well compensated, see plenty who aren't.

Definitely a believer in bootstrapping but Id rather have my own integrity and honor intact to myself than buy a third home I guess. It's all in how we raise our kids. The next gens are going to be stingy AND less competent imo.
