I was looking for some help. I got hurt and am laid up for a little while. A friend is helping me out by removing about 6400 sq ft of vct tile put down with cut back and about 4300 sq ft of glued down carpet in a commercial building for me that we are trying to rent. I will rent the tile remover and buy all equipment he needs but he wont give me a price to do it. He is telling me don't worry about it. I will worry.

Can someone please just give me an idea of how much money to give him?

Nope.

No one knows his operating costs and profit needs or how long the project will take him.

Do yourself a HUGE favor, sign a contract with price, expectations and date of completion. Not doing so is only bending you over prematurely.
