Big thing around NYC is Valpak. It offers free coupons, price reductions, and most importantly, advertising. Has anyone used it? If so, how was it? Did you generate a lot of calls/projects. I am willing to invest into Valpak, but I'd like to make sure it is the right choice prior to dishing out the money. Thanks!

It's hit or miss,....and can be costly.
I agree with handyhands. I did two zones a few months back. cost like 950. But I got 4 or 5 jobs from it. paid for the mailings and a few nickles to spare. you have to time it right. also research the zone you want to target, just check the previous mailer and see who is in it.

NEVER EVER take the the first price you are offered. LMAO. They are always willing to drop the price some or toss you a free zone. Meet with the rep at D&D or something. I guarantee he will give you a deal before he will go home empty handed with no contract :w00t:

ValPak

We have been advertising in Valpak (Texas) each month for several years. Our experience is that you must be consistent, it generally will not be an overnight success.

We have been in the Valpak mailer so much that people now recognize us at the local Home Shows. We have a photo of the owner and his wife on each mailer and people recognize them at the shows.

It is not cheap though, if you are a startup company, door to door hangers may be the best and least expensive marketing for you.
