Hey....it seemed like a good idea at the time....
I had this 1 1/4 already wet with primer and these doors all sanded and ready and needing primer...
So I was thinkng....I wonder if I can paint these w/o a brush, if I use this 1 1/4 here....hmmmm....

...if I use this one and a quarter inch nap roller sleeve filled with primer
Not my other 1&1/4 incher PWG

Then I timed it by brush alone

AA, roll & tip can actually almost equal a spray job. There is a husband/wife team around here that specialize in this technique. He uses the little 4" X 1/8" rollers and she 'tips' with a dry brush. I'm pretty sure that the real key is in reducing the paint perfectly.
