I know one thing in common. Don't argue with an inspector. Please divulge details 480. I've always looked around everytime I went up there but never really looked a specific differences. What are some biggies?
The one that really ticks me off is that the C.E.C has decided that since we are Canadians we are no longer allowed to mix metric and imperial systems in our code book.
That means that as Canadians we no longer use 1/2" and 3/4" pipe ... we now have to use 16mm and 21mm pipe. Problem is ... guess which country makes the pipe for us?? Why the good ol' USA .. and you guys still make the same stuff that you've always made.
So.. if any of my electrical brothers or sisters are thinking of heading north? Remember Canada is a bi-lingual country and if you can't speak both languages ( them being metric and imperial ) then our foreign code system will confuse the hell out of you ... which means you'll fit in fine cause none of us understand it either.
