Upgrading alternator and wiring

Im putting a 200 amp alternator in my truck. I'm thinking I should upgrade the wiring to the battery as well. What kind of size should I be looking at? Ground as well? Can I just add an additional wire to the existing wiring? Place where I am getting alternator sells an additional wire to add on to existing factory wire, but that doesn't seems like the best option. You'll want to do the 'big three upgrade'

Battery ground to chassis, chassis to engine block, and alternator + to battery +.

typically done with 0 or 1 gauge wire by audio enthusiasts.
