A customer brought this gem in today to have the dump bed hinge repaired.

Former fire truck, '63 F600, 330v8, 5spd, 2spd axle, and slick. Motor is almost silent, no leaks or issues (except it's not mine) and even still has the wicked cool, old school mechanical back up alarm bell that is driven from the drive shaft.

Enjoy.

Yup, that's the crossover.

Anyone catch the mileage? It hasn't rolled over, either. Just under 13k.
That thing is Awesome!!
Sweet rig! I like how the speedo goes to 100, But it prolly only does 50-55...

You're right, owner said it tops out at 54-55 mph.
Sweeeeet!

Is it 12,000 miles or rolled over once?
The beauty of buying old fire trucks, very low mileage and great condition. Friend of mine bought a 1 ton International brush truck with only 9k miles on it. It sat so long in one place the wheel bearings in the rear axle were rusted on one half and the other half was like new being in oil. He ripped off the bed, sold the pump and tank, had a custom aluminum diamond plate dump flat bed built for it and he did a mild restoration on it. He swapped the 4 speed for a 5 speed, replaced all the brake wheel cylinders and brake hoses, put on 6 new tires and removed the in cab gas tank in favor of a drum tank on the side of the frame. Truck is gorgeous and has won a couple awards at local shows. He claims it gets around 15mpg with the 5spd and will run 75mph all day long.
