Please explain further, this sounds like a new technique.

O.k so I guess nails and disks look like a good solution.

How about a peel and stick GAF product, its only for the crickets, about 1 square? Are they any good?

Are you proposing to install a new roof (cap sheet) over exsisting modbit?

Or are you using it as a base for a new modbit system? If so, nail it.

i am confused.

yeah man what you're saying or trying to explain isn't making any sense to me. why would you nail or glue a torch down cap sheet? not to sound like an ass but use alittle common sense. TORCH DOWN install your base sheet with metal button caps then install your cap sheet with heat via a flame from a torch.

Yeah, I agree with Mr. Williams. Torchdown is torched, and if you've never torched - don't torch.Torchdown roofing is a skill. And I wouldn't put a self-adhered membrane in a cricket where there's a great deal of water accumulating. In short, don't DIY.
