As a general contractor I have come across some pretty cool tools to make jobs very easy.

However, most are not advertised or sold in most stores. I have come across a few by luck.

Any suggestions........

what trade-specific tools are you looking for?
your question is somewhat vague...

My apologies for being so vague.

I mainly work carpentry. To give you guys an example of near tools I have come across are the following:

- 'dead on tools (has an amazing nail puller with a saw wrench built in)
- I also saw a cabinet hole making tool for an easy installation of handles.

I have tried google. It almost seems that unless you know what you are looking for google can't really help much.

Trade shows--woodworking shows --these are nice for finding odd time saving tools--and read some threads here---

When ever I work with other tradesmen I keep an eye on how they work and what tools they reach for--

I have the dead on exhumer nail puller and the claw is too fat to get under a nail easily. I would say that all "dead on" tools are crap.
